Meet the Mint Team: Zac Pritchett

At Mint Live, we have such a great team across all of our accounts, and we thought it'd be lovely for you to have a chance to get to know us better.

This week we had a chat with Zac Pritchett! Zac's been a valued team member since early 2020.

Q: What is your role at Mint Live?

I am a Team Leader for Mint Live, which means I am on-hand to help motivate, educate and inspire our team members to reach our daily goals. It's a really rewarding role and I love helping everyone wherever I can.

Q: How long have you been working for Mint Live?

I started working for Mint Live in March 2020 (so just before everything got a little hectic with Covid!). I had never worked from home before so that was challenging initially but now it feels like second nature. My first role was as a team member providing customer service for one of our bigger clients, and I steadily progressed to becoming a Team Leader for the company.

Q: What's your favourite thing about working for Mint Live?

I really enjoy the collaborative, team atmosphere. It's also great that we have a flexi approach to working in the office as there's no pressure if you prefer working from home. It's nice to feel trusted that you can provide the same level of work wherever you're based.

Q: What would you say helps make an excellent customer support experience?

Good communication and sympathise with the customer wherever you can. It's really important to put yourself in their shoes and understand why they might feel upset/ frustrated. It always makes it so much easier to go that extra mile for them when you realise just how much it'd mean to the customer.

Q: Can you show us your WFH Set-Up?

Sure, it's pretty modest though! I'm mostly working from the kitchen table as it gets lots of natural light in which really helps me focus (plus I'm right next to snacks and coffee to keep me going).

Q: Speaking of which, what's your favourite working-from-home snack?

I'm going to be really boring and say protein bars. They can be a life-saver on those mornings when you've not got time to make a proper meal.

Q: Go-to coffee order?

Either a mocha with soy milk, or an oat flat white!

Q: What would you say is the biggest perk of outsourcing your customer service/ admin?

There's no need to worry about the headache of hiring a whole team yourself. Outsourcing is so flexible and scaleable, so it takes the pressure off and you can grow/ downsize whenever you need.
