Mint Live 2021 Round-Up

2021 was another year filled with uncertainty and whilst we'd be lying if we said it wasn't hard sometimes, we are so proud of everything we managed to achieve in the past year. From working with some lovely new employees and clients, to being selected finalists for Business Awards, and more. Here's our 2021 round-up:

The Biggest Mint Live News!

2021 brought us the wonderful news that our Director Sophie is expecting her first baby! We're so, so excited and for her and cannot wait to meet him.

New Faces and New Clients:

2021 was a big year for us as we expanded our team and greeted lots of lovely new faces into the Mint Live family.

Although working remotely meant that we were limited in face-to-face meet-ups, we were able to grow our team and welcome some truly talented, attentive and delightful new team members.

We also expanded our number of clients in 2021, working with a wide range of companies and delighting their customers, too!

Minimal, but Memorable Mint Meet-ups:

Despite all of the trials and tribulations that 2021 gave us, we're so pleased we were able to come together as a team and finally meet up in person! We organised a little bowling trip out, it was so good to actually catch up, talk and enjoy ourselves.

We're looking forward to 2022 so we can hopefully meet up a little more often and have more fun as a team.

Yoga, Book Clubs and Taking time to Relax:

In 2021 we had to adapt in many ways. We realised very quickly that we needed to curate ways we could interact as a team, and relax outside of work.

For our local team, we offered yoga on office days during lunch, which was an amazing way to relax during the sedentary work day. It really helped us take a moment to breathe and step away from the desk.

With lots of remote team members, we knew it was almost more important to check in with them and make sure we were still interacting outside of work. Lots of us made good use of the Donut meetings on Slack to have some coffee or lunch catch ups. We also created a book club where those of us who wanted to join in, could all collaborate and discuss the book of the month.

Business Awards 2021:

One of our 2021 highlights: we're so proud that we were made finalists in the Grantham Business Awards for Employer of the Year and our very own Georgie was a finalist for Employee of the Year!

Whilst we unfortunately didn't win, it was so nice for everyone to dress up and attend- fingers crossed for 2022!
